Ameren Missouri Heating and Cooling Program
Rebates are valid for installs between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024.
Ameren Missouri is offering their customers a rebate when upgrading their heating and cooling system to a more energy efficient system!
Requirements:
You must be an Ameren Missouri Residential Electric Customer.
To be eligible for participation in the program, the dwelling unit must be one of the following:
—Single-family residence (Also any building with four units or fewer in any configuration)
—Multi-family building in any configuration
—Row house, which is defined as a single-family dwelling unit that shares common vertical walls only with other single-family dwelling units
—Multistory, multifamily dwelling units with greater than four units that also share a horizontal surface (floor or ceiling) with another dwelling unit do not qualifyNewly installed equipment must meet or exceed the Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) or Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) levels set forth by the program and documented by the Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI).
Existing operating CAC and ASHP being replaced must have a nameplate SEER rating below 14.0.
Existing operating GSHP being replaced must have a nameplate EER rating of 12.0 or lower (partial cooling load).
Existing failed CAC, ASHP or GSHP does not require maximum nameplate SEER/EER rating.
Existing equipment that is operating must have an operational condenser to be classified as operating (early replacement).
Rebate eligibility is dependent on the existing heating source. Please see the chart below for eligibility.
Rebate check will go to the name on Ameren Missouri account. You can reassign the rebate to someone of your choosing as well.

After installation, we will submit all rebate paperwork on your behalf. Rebates will be processed by Ameren Missouri and they will mail your check within six to eight weeks.

Spire Energy Rebates
Heating and cooling your home is typically your single largest annual energy cost.
Technology has made today’s natural gas furnaces significantly more economical to operate than older models. If your furnace is more than 15 years old, think about using Spire’s rebate program to upgrade to a new 95% or higher efficiency model and save up to 20% in operating costs every year.
You can submit your rebate online at Spire’s website after we install your new qualifying furnace equipment.

Federal Tax Credits
Starting January 1, 2023 the Energy Efficiency Home Improvement Credit under the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 expanded section 25C increasing tax credits for eligible residential equipment up to $2000.
